What is Onsite Optimization?

On-page refers to both the content and HTML source code of a page that can be optimized, as opposed to off-page SEO which refers to links and other external signals. moz.com
Why is Onpage SEO Important?
SEO is important because it allows a website easy for both users and search engines to understand. Although search engines are super smart, they still can’t read and understand a page the same way a user. SEO helps the engines figure out what each page is about, and how it may be useful for users.
